Reason: The article, ‘A religious discourse on water and environmental conservation issues: An interfaith approach’, by Mufid et al. (2023), published online on 21 September 2023, has been retracted by the Editor-in-Chief and the Publisher, due to unreliable findings.

This retraction follows post-publication concerns that the findings reported in this article relied on material used without appropriate attribution or permission. Removing the affected material would undermine the article’s results and conclusions. Because the article’s analysis relies on the affected material, the reliability of the article’s arguments cannot be assured.

For this reason, the Editor-in-Chief and Publisher no longer have confidence in the article’s reliability, and it has therefore been retracted.

The authors were given the opportunity to register agreement or disagreement with this retraction. A record of any response received has been retained.

The original article will remain available online to preserve the scholarly record but will be clearly identified as retracted.
